“Do you have anything to tell him?” Eartha asked. She didn’t expect Alayana to become like that and tries to mindlink Isaac but he seems to have closed the link. He does it when he is either in meetings or while patrolling.

“No.” Alayana shook her head. She doesn’t feel like she has anything to tell him. But her heart pained for not being able to tell him the words that are deeply hidden in her heart. She finally admits that she has always loved Isaac.

Her eyes became heavy again as the darkness was covering her. She took one last look at her son and went into a deep sleep.
