Next day when everyone was preparing for war Alayana was having a meeting with troops. Isaac was also by her side but her eyes searched for another man.

“Where is Lance?” Alayana asked as soon as she and Isaac were alone in the room.

“He has gone to Wesley” Isaac said casually checking his documents.

“What? Do you hate your brother that much to send him to the enemy?” She just couldn’t understand how Isaac could send his own brother to the enemy’s mouth. Wesley is a treacherous man whom they shouldn’t underestimate.

Isaac was surprised to hear such a high tone from her. She never raised her voice at him even when he imprisoned her when he was a rogue.

“Why would I send him to Wesley? Do you think Lance is a ten year old kid or my subordinate to follow my commands?” He asked, keeping his file aside. His tone was complete disbelief.
