Chapter 111. Not Coming Back

Luna's POV

She nodded a couple of times, and I assisted her in getting up from the couch where she was seated. We went together to the telephone and then I dialed Adonis' number into the telephone. I handed over the phone to her and quickly walked upstairs to Wendy and my bedroom. They were talking about something that was very personal to both of them, and I didn't want to hear what they were discussing. When I walked into the room, I saw that Wendy was also awake and that she had risen to her feet. She had just slept, and woke up again.

"Why did you wake up?" As I sat next to her and asked. She glanced down at her pillow and saw the hair that had fallen on her head so I immediately grasped her chin and turned her head to face me, and she smiled. I did nothing more than move my fingers over the pillow and brushed the hairs that had fallen from her hair. I gave her a kind gesture as I tucked the hair that had slipped out into my pocket.
