Luna's POV
I stared at the food I cooked. The quiet kitchen is odd. I didn’t know how I was going to make the table light because even Athena wasn’t eating and was just playing with the food in front of her. I just watched her and I could do nothing. I'm sure her father is in the cave now, I just hope he's comfortable there with the blanket and pillow I gave him. I still didn't remove the door lock and I saw it was dark outside.
From what I heard earlier I didn't know if I could talk to him. He could easily let go of the word abortion. Doesn't he know that those words are sacred? But I'm not angry with what he said ... I'm mad with myself.
I was relieved that he was ready to abort Jessica's child. I know that Athen and I could be the reason and— we may not be. I looked outside again and saw with my own eyes how the waves hit. Perhaps, neither my parents nor God could forgive me for what I was thinking.
