Chapter 203

Dion

When I hear footsteps I look up and see Audrey, she stretches and puts her arms around my upper body.

"Slept well?" I ask and she gives me a thumbs up. I kiss her cheek and pull her onto my lap. She sits astride me and I run my hand up and down her back. I feel her smile and kiss the crook of my neck.

"Me too," I whisper and get up with her make her coffee put her down on the kitchen island, and make her fruit with yogurt and honey. She drinks her coffee and then eats something, but she is not even awake yet, the last few weeks are taking their toll.

After she eats, she yawns, "Go back to sleep, I'll catch you later." She nods and kisses my cheek before she goes back to sleep. I look after her, I wish she wouldn't always regret everything.

Theo wakes up next and makes himself bacon and eggs and is straight out of the pan. I keep working while Theo cleans up and goes back to sleep. The boy can sleep so much, it never ceases to amaze
