We soon reached our destination, the journey was short. I spent the rest of the journey trying to ground myself and calm myself down. The Lord could smell when I was aroused, which is why I needed to normalize myself.

We just entered our new accommodation. This time it was a large house. It looked like a family home. It was neither too new nor too old. It was pretty to look at.

I was curious to see how it was furnished.

Aramis held the front door open for me and I walked past him with thanks. After a few steps, I stopped and looked around.

Immediately to the left, a wooden staircase led up to the first floor. The wardrobe was small, with a chest of drawers, a mirror above it, and a few hooks.

A corridor led to the back of the house. Here, too, a wood fan had come to life, as the floor and ceiling were made of wood.

I was abruptly torn from my observation as the door closed with a loud bang. "Could you please pull your
