Chapter 216. Reunion

"Your wife didn’t reply," Jasper informed him as they drove the long road going to the house, which the man referred to as his home. "They are probably busy dealing with Ellaine now."

Ethan sighed nervously in his seat, leaning against the backrest of the front seat, and let himself be immersed in his thoughts. Needless to say, he felt a sense of fear creeping over his skin. He didn’t know where to start at that point of his life. All he knew was that he was like a dog, completely lost and confused.

"You’re quiet."

"I don’t need to speak," he said.

"Are you nervous?" Jasper asked. Ethan had no idea why the man sounded like he was teasing him. "Come on, you’re going to see your family. I mean not literally see them but you will be reunited with them."

"The family that I don’t even remember, yeah..."

"With proper medication and follow ups from the doctor, I could tell that your memories will come back."

"What if it won’t happen?" Ethan tilted
