Chapter 219. Baby’s Kick

Michelle blinked away and found pairs of eyes watching her. She realized that she was on the bed, and Marsha was on her side, hugging her.

"Mommy, you’re awake!" Marsha exclaimed in relief and excitement.

"W-What happened?" she asked in confusion.

Sitting upright, she tried to collect her thoughts and recalled what happened before she found herself on the bed. Panic went through her. Her eyes looked around, trying to find a familiar face of a man, and when she found him sitting on the couch next to the bed, she breathed a sigh of relief.

Gregory walked up to her, sitting on the side of the bed and caressing her hair. "How do you feel now, sweetheart?"
