Chapter 17. Strange Occurrences

Brielle POV

“Raise your brows...” Brielle did as she was told almost immediately by the woman styling her hair.

Staring straight at the mirror, her lips shut tight, and her hair pulled back into a straight bun so that every single highlight of her face was visible, she watched the woman continue her work.

She appeared to be fine on the outside, but on the inside, she was shaking with fear, anticipation, and terror.

After two days of seeing Darius in that room, she’d be under him tonight while he fucked her and did other illicit things to her.

And, more than being used for some vile pleasure, it terrified her beyond all reason because it meant she’d be vulnerable and bared open with him. That was the thing that scared her the most.
