Darius POV

“I think that would be all for now.” Darius dismissed Rocky, who bowed and walked out of the office without saying anything else.

Darius closed the files before him and discarded the ones he still needed to sort, leaving them for tomorrow. Standing up from his chair, he moved to his office’s wine cabinet and grabbed a bottle.

He was tired, and all he needed now was some alcohol to calm his nerves.

He looked at his wristwatch, checking the time, and was shocked to see that it was only 7 pm. He had expected the time to be much late because he had been here since God knows when, but...
