Logan’s POV
Just as I let out a frustrated breath, my phone rang again. I glanced at the screen. Another familiar number this time…one of my men in Miami who managed my penthouses. My finger hovered over the screen for a second before I answered.
“Boss, I need to inform you of something,” the man’s voice trembled slightly, though he tried to sound composed.
“What now?” I snapped. I could feel my patience thinning by the second.
“It’s one of your penthouses, the one near the beach,” he said. “It’s on fire. But don’t worry, boss, we’ve managed to catch one of the men who was setting up the explosives. He’s tied up as we speak.”
The words hit me like a slap. My penthouse? My sanctuary? These bastards were becoming too bold. The fact they dared to set explosives right under my nose sent my blood boiling.
