Chapter 206
Logan’s POV
The wind whipped against my face as we stepped out of the convoy, the sound of rotors slicing through the air ahead of us. The private jet shines under the dim lights of the hangar, its engines humming softly.
I led the way, Dani closed on my heels, and my men followed silently. Tension hung heavy in the air. None of us spoke as we climbed aboard the jet, our footsteps echoing on the metal steps.
Once inside, Dani immediately set up his laptop on the fold-out desk near the window. He was determined, fingers flying across the keyboard. I collapsed into one of the leather seats, my jaw clenched tight.
