Logan’s POV

The timer bomb’s beeping grew faster, each tick as it kept sounding in my ears like a countdown to chaos.

My team moved like shadows, tying up the Jaguar and his men, but we were running out of time, and Dani wasn’t about to let me forget it.

“Logan!” Dani’s voice cut through the tension like a whip. “There’s no time for your slow motion heroics! The bomb is about to blow! Get moving!”

“Just a damn second, Dani,” I snapped, turning to my men. “Tie them up tight. I don’t want any of these bastards loose.”

The Jaguar struggled against the ropes as one of my men cinched the knots tight. “You won’t get away with this,” he spat, his voice dripping with venom.

I crouched down, grabbing his chin to force him to look at me. “Funny. That’s exactly what I was going to say to you,” I growled before pushing him back against the wall.
