Jerulo’s POV

I was already tired of Dylano backing into the plan and backing off, like what he really wanted.

But then, as if finally releasing a breath he’d been holding, he said, “I’ve made up my mind.”

I straightened up, focusing entirely on him. “What’s your answer?” I asked, my voice steady, but inside, I felt the anticipation building.

Dylano didn’t hesitate, his voice firm now. “I agree to the plan. We’ll steal from Logan.”

A small smile crept onto my face, but I masked it quickly. It wasn’t the time to celebrate yet. I needed more from him.

I needed to know where this would start…where we were going to begin this dangerous heist.

“Where do we start?” Dylano asked me, and there was a slight edge of curiosity in his tone. He was ready now, but I could tell that the uncertainty still lingered in his mind.
