Lily unlocked the door to her apartment and stepped inside, her shoulders feeling lighter after her conversation with Alexander.

“Sarah, I’m home!”

Sarah emerged from the living room with a huge smile, hugging Lily tightly and inhaling the comforting scent of her perfume. “It’s so good to see you. How was work?”

Lily smiled, setting down her things and relaxing into Sarah’s embrace.

“Work was great, as always. I have so much to tell you about all the new responsibilities Alexander has given me.”
