Liam’s POV

I sighed. "I know, but it’s not that simple."

He placed a hand on my shoulder. "Take your time, Alpha. Make the right decision for you and the pack."

As Kris left, I lay back, deep in thought. I had to fully get better before making any decisions. Maxine had made a difference in my life, but I still needed to figure out what that meant for us and the pack. For now, I would focus on healing and let the future unfold as it would.

I sat in my room, my thoughts were consumed by the hardest decision I had ever faced. Pronouncing an omega, a weakling, as Luna went against everything I believed in.
