Chapter 11. Disgust
Damon grabbed Hazel’s wrist, glaring at her furiously.
Since their divorce, they hadn’t had a single proper conversation whenever they met.
Hazel glanced at Damon but ultimately fixed her gaze on the woman standing beside Kin.
“Wow, you’ve got a new taste now? Not bad. At least it’s an upgrade from Delilah-by a mile,” Hazel said with a smirk.
She then raised an eyebrow at the woman. “Miss, did you know there’s already a pregnant canary waiting at Damon’s home?”
Damon’s grip on Hazel’s wrist tightened, and he stepped sideways, blocking her view of the woman.
Pain shot through Hazel’s wrist, and she was just about to retaliate when Omar stepped forward.
“Damon! You think I’m dead, treating my niece like this?”
His voice boomed with authority, sounding nothing like a man in his sixties.
Damon froze under Omar’s glare, quickly loosening his grip as his gaze darted between Omar and Hazel.
