Chapter 138. In Rescue
Marcus had been in the town for so long, and Edith had grown up there. If they could get help from people they knew, things would certainly move much faster.
The key was not to attract the attention of those people, so that the child’s safety could be maximized.
Fortunately, Kin had already figured out that only two people had taken the child, and they were both staying in a rented house.
The two would often take turns going out to buy food. To avoid suspicion from the people around them, they would alternate, staying out for a day at a time before returning, pretending to be working in Marcus’s greenhouse.
So, the best time to act would be during the day, when only one person was watching the child, making it easier to take action.

“Not yet. I was waiting to discuss it with you first, sir. After this, I’ll have my people take action. One of them has already infiltrated Marcus’s greenhouse, so it will be easier
