Xander hadn’t contacted anyone he knew in D Country before returning. It felt awkward to disturb people this late at night. So, he settled for a small hotel nearby. It would do for just one night; tomorrow he could head back to his house in D Country.

His place was a small villa not far from his company, spacious enough. He and Sully had stayed there together before, and now it would be perfect to bring Hazel and stay for a few days.
