Chapter 15. The Showdown (Misunderstanding)

Third person’s POV

That afternoon as the students of Glimmer High were heading back home to prepare for the showdown, Heidi and Daniel went to the park while Ray and Justin immediately followed suit secretly to spy on both of them and that was really childish of them.

“Ray, Justin, you know we can see you guys, right?” Heidi said after spotting Ray and Justin by the bush next to the bench they were sitting on.

“Found it!” Ray exclaimed.

“Ok, we’ll be on our way now, Ray found what we were looking for,” Justin said, holding Ray’s hand in motion for both of them to exit the place.

“In the bush?” Daniel asked as Justin glared at him.

“What were both of you looking for anyway?” Heidi asked knowing fully well that they were spying on Daniel and her.

“We came…” Ray said but was cut off by Justin.

“We came looking for Ray’s necklace. Found it,” he said pointing at her amulet with a little smile.
