Chapter 29. Close Call

Ray’s POV

When I got back home, I began talking to my parents about the finals and for a fact our school won it.

“Slow down honey” my mom said

“I’m just so excited” I said excited

“Sorry we couldn’t make it to your school” my dad apologized

“wait, so you knew about the finals?” I asked surprised

“Yeah, why did you think the school called parents over for a meeting yesterday?” my mom asked

“Oh, I guess I’m the only person who almost forgot about the finals” I said as my mom giggled.

“Mom, Dad, when are you two gonna get married?” I asked as my parents looked at me in shock.

“My parents are still finding it difficult to forgive me for living with a witch and without telling them sooner” my dad stated as my mom suddenly became moody.

“You’ve told them already?” I asked my dad.

“Why do you think my family don’t visit now and then anymore?” my dad asked

“I knew something was off about that, so that’s the reason why t
