Once Imani let go of Alex’s hand, the lady wiggled her fingers, “Your palm sure does have a peculiar feel. Soft, I mean,” she complimented, with a smile on her face, “Please take a seat. I am guessing you are not here just for a visit now?” Alex walked around the table and sat down after Kade had taken the seat first.
Imani noticed the table wasn’t clear and clean as she had noticed earlier. There were some engraved markings on the wooden table—designs which she didn’t understand. It kind of reminded her of the Pentagon Azazel had etched on the floor the other day, she wondered if he too was a palm reader just like Alex.
There were lines and circles around, inside which the words were written. While her eyes curiously were looking at the table, the lady in front of her noticed Imani looking at the table.
