Jormun reached out and took my hand in his before guiding me back over to the sofa. We sat down together, a comfortable amount of space between us.
“It seems that we were both in the wrong this whole time.” He said as he looked at me with an ashamed expression.

“It was unfair of me to compare you to someone else.” Jormun sighed. “I can’t even begin to articulate my surprise at learning you are in fact not her.” He admitted.
“I know she probably meant a lot to you, but I am relieved to know that I am not the person who treated you so poorly in the past.” I told him as I took his hand in mine. “The woman, God, she said that we were soulmates…” I revealed. “…she told me that she made us soulmates to make up for forcing you to stand on the sidelines before, though I admit, I am not entirely sure what she meant by that.” I told him.
