Chapter 109
“What the hell did you do?” I could hear Renard shouting as I finally started to regain consciousness.
“I was just trying to restore her memories.” Jormun replied. “She asked me to perform the ritual.” He defended.
“It was too risky for you to decide to do something like this on your own! What if her soul was unable to return from the astral realm?” Renard growled out.
“Mh…” I groaned slightly as tried to move my body and felt an aching pain throughout it instead.
“She’s waking up!” Andra shouted. I began to open my eyes, blinking as they adjusted to the light of the living room fixture of my loft.
“Why do I hurt so much?” I asked as my eyes focused on the first person they fell on. Jormun looked at me with an expression full of dread.
“Did…did it work?” I heard Daring ask.
“Are you alright, my queen?” Renard’s face popped up in my line of vision suddenly. I grew annoyed and shoved his face away from me.
“I am not your queen.” I growle
