Jordan Astley frowned and pursed his lips. "Ivelle, aren't you so dutiful with your husband?"

She looked back at him and said, "You can choose not to eat or order takeout." With that, she turned off the fire.

He froze, stopped her from touching her nose, and said, "It's not that I can't eat it. It's delicious when the noodles are cooked."

She was a little tired originally, so after she finished cooking for Jordan, she didn't care. She went straight back to the bedroom and washed to rest.
