Chapter 98. A Strange Sight

As Keratin stood staring at Germaine, he came to two startling realizations;

1. She was the one that set his heart aflame, and... 

2. He could not get her out of his mind.

He sighed and closed his eyes but immediately opened them as his eyes sought her out once again. His blood boiled as she threw back her head and laughed at something Storm said. He knew Storm was not flirting with her but that still did not stop him from feeling the sting of jealousy. 

It coursed though him, making him restless. He wanted to walk over there and ingratiate himself in between them but he knew he couldn't do that. That would be highly improper. Instead, he settled for listening in on their conversation. 

That was one thing Germaine did not know about; werewolves had extraordinary hearing. It always came in handy whenever they needed to infiltrate their enemy's lair and know their next move.
