Chapter 42

I dragged out the conflict for as long as it was humanly possible for me to do so. The mess that was Cedric's study is still there. Due to the fact that Lucas had tossed me around so much, I was convinced that the majority of my ribs were fractured. Of course, I put up a sufficient amount of resistance for it to be believed. After what seemed like an eternity, I was finally able to pick up on Cedric's presence as he entered the structure.

It's go time!

I took the initiative to lead the way toward Silly's nursery. I observed her nanny looking after her child. I was able to snap the nanny's neck in one swift motion. Other than Lucas, I am not allowed to have any witnesses. This will leave me under hard to handle circumstances.
