Even now, I have no recollection of it. It's the same as being a slave to a control freak who can't be seen.
I made a commitment, but what use is that vow now that the blood and tears have been hidden away for so many years? They were nowhere to be found.
At this point, this fixation is completely and utterly ridiculous.
As I picked up a rock and threw it into the water, causing a significant amount of commotion in the process, I could feel the wrath rising up inside of me.
At the top of my voice, I let out a resounding, "Fuck you, Lorcan!"
I hurled another rock into the river and said, "You made me into this. You turned me into a monster! And here I am, supposedly trying to fulfill your wish of petty revenge!"
I reached up and took hold of my hair out of sheer exasperation, and then I began to pace back and forth.
