"Don't listen to her, Wendy! She would never hurt a baby! Believe me!" Leon yelled desperately from behind Lucy. Wendy caught his gaze, conflict clear in her eyes.

"Please be quiet, loverboy. Shut your mouth." Lucy said calmly.

"Look at me, Wendy, not him," Lucy said, grabbing Wendy's face and forcing her to look at her.

"You don't know what I am capable of, and neither does he. He didn't even know I was working with Lorcan. I said I would not leave Silly parentless, but I will, however, leave you childless." Lucy paused.

"One less bloodthirsty offspring in the world will not bother one bit, do you understand?" Lucy said it in a gravely serious tone. Wendy nodded in response.

"Silly. I chose Silly." Wendy stuttered. Leon gave her a look of understanding as she made her choice. Lucy took a quick look between them, and then disgust appeared on her face.

"Yuck, take that lovey-dovey stuff somewhere else, please." She said it in disgust.
