Chapter 89. The Plan
“I don’t understand. What is the thing we have in common?” I ask him instantly. But it is a lie that he answers me immediately.
First, I see how he paces slowly around my sitting room, then finally, he comes to me in the garden. He brings out a cigar from his dirty polo pocket, lights it up, and exhales smoke from his nose and mouth.
Nevertheless, he has not said anything. He only walks slowly to the pavement around the garden, places his hands on it, and inhales deeply while his eyes are closed.
