Chapter 90. The Funding

Tyler’s POV

I know she is going to accept my offer. I mean, who wouldn’t? A cat cannot negotiate a bowl of milk. No matter what it takes, I know she is going to take the bait.

And now that she accepts, all I need to do is wait for the funds to come in, and then I can proceed on the journey that ends bitterly for Alessandra.

Scoff.

I am on my blanket now, under the bridge, looking at my phone constantly, hoping to hear a notification from it soon.

You see, I am the type that uses an iPhone and other fancy Android phones when I am still married to Alessandra. But now, with these punishments she is making me serve, I can no longer afford those kinds of phones.

I have this burner phone in my hand; I even picked it up from a trash can. All the money I can get, perhaps one dollar throughout the whole day, I use to feed my always-crying tummy.

Anyway, my phone beeps suddenly. To me, it sounds like the expected second coming of Christ because I have so muc
