I had just arrived home when I received the invoice from the accounting firm. I wanted to delay the payment for a day but that's where I was going so I just sighed while transferring the money to the firm's account.

“Did something happen?” Marian asked why I was constantly sighing.

“The amount of money I lost today,” I answered.

“You were held up?”

“Too much,” was my only reply but soon I told her about my way and the girl cheered my first step to get rid of Brent. I hesitated whether to tell her about the money owed by Aika because I was sure that Marian would not approve of what I did. “Aika and Brent borrowed money.”
