Chapter 49

I was very grateful and together we went to the back of the house where the bath is because the source of water on the farm is well. He took care of fetching water from the well and I just sat pretty while waiting for the water drums to fill up.

“Is there no other source of water here? Is this really it?” I asked him because while I was thinking about doing laundry, I didn't want to.

“There is a river at the bottom. You can take a bath or do laundry there,” the man answered. “I'm done, let's take a bath.”

“Alright,” I answered. And since the bathroom area is open, I just changed into shorts and a shirt. When the young man undressed in front of me, I suddenly changed my mind. “Don't tell me you're going to take all that off here,” I told him.

“If you want to see,” he answered jokingly and when I looked at him again, I stopped asking him why he was only wearing boxer shorts. We're going to take a bath, aren't we?
