Chapter 54
When we arrived at the center of the barangay, I was impressed by the number of products there. Tapioca is full of vegetables. I saw not only mountain vegetables but also fruits. Not far away was the fish display and I saw that quite a few people had come to shop as well.
“Let's go to the fishing area and we might run out,” said Jericho as he parked his motorcycle.
“I did notice that there were more people there than vegetables,” I said.
“Yes. Because most of them are tired of vegetables and other things, almost everyone has vegetables in the yard. Do you want us to grill fish?”
“And a pig too,” I suggested to him.
“Because I don't eat pork, but you can eat a little. In case there is lechon, that's all we can buy, is that okay?”
“Alright, even just a kilo or half.”
“Can you handle a kilo?”
“Are we only going to eat once, huh?” I was a bit annoyed by his tone as if he made me look like I ate too much. However, I can't really be mad at him fore
