Chapter 27. Going Shopping

Author’s POV

Aurora cried for hours—throughout the day to be more specific. Even when she had no idea what was wrong and why her tears kept falling, she kept sobbing without control.

Her pillow was soaked with her tears, and she didn’t eat since the breakfast she had where she’d barely eaten anything. Aurora kept turning in her bed, her stomach churning and making her uncomfortable while she kept feeling nauseous.

Constipated.

Full—without having any meal.

And her eyes feeling puffy and bulgy while throbbing through their sockets.

She knew she could have a fever if she didn’t find a way to pacify herself. But somehow, her tears didn’t want to stop.

Xavier returned home, his mind a rollercoaster of emotions. He didn’t know how to react to the news, or how Aurora had taken it. How she’d felt. What she was currently feeling.

And the thoughts that were running through her mind.

They were going to have a baby—their baby.
