Arriving at the hospital, I exhaled deeply with my hands presented to my chest.

I forced a smile to my lips as I walked into the room. My smile disappeared the moment I saw Christabel, sitting beside mom.

“What are you doing here?” I demanded, glaring at her with disgust and mom frowned.

“Rora, Christabel came to check on me, is there a problem?” Mom demanded and I scoffed.

“You need to leave now before I throw you out.”

“Rora… I’m so sorry… It was never my intention for you to find out, everything I said that day was because I was high on crack… You’re my best friend, I would never do such a thing to you.” She pleaded, feigning sadness and I scoffed.
