“I wonder what mischef you have pulled today.“ I chuckled watching my beta as he smirked at the dissapearing figure ahead of us. He always had a knack for getting into trouble, but I couldn't help but admire his mischievous spirit.

He turned to face me, a smile forming in his lips. “Huh? Why would you think that I have pulled a mischief. Come on, am I a five years old?“ 

I raised an eyebrow, amused by his attempt at innocence. "Oh, please, we both know you have a mischievous streak that even a five-year-old would envy. So, spill the beans. How deep is the hole you managed to dig him into this time?" 

He chuckled, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Alright, alright, you got me. But trust me, this time it's nothing too serious. Just a harmless..you know what? I don't want to talk about Doctor Kedeva anymore." He waved his hands in dismissal.

I stared intently at him and smirked. He licked his lower lip, tore his gaze from me, and star
