“How do you feel now, Sony?“ I asked as I walked back into the room. Sony was no longer in pain because he was now lying on his back and staring at the ceiling. I watched his facial expressions and smiled at how relaxed he looked. He looked as if calmness had washed all over his body.

My eyes roamed around, but I didn't find Doctor Kedeva anywhere, so I guessed that he had stepped out and gone back to his room after he was done taking care of Sony. I had told my dad about the suspicion I held about him, and he advised that I shouldn't jump to conclusions but conduct an investigation instead.

He advised me that my friendship with him would fall apart if what I had suspected him of turned out to be false. I really hoped that he wouldn't turn out to be a traitor, because I really don't know what I'll do. He is my best friend after all, and he was supposed to look out for me as I did for him.
