“What the hell was that for?“ I asked, my voice softening when I saw it was Sony who had kicked me. He rolled his eyes at me instead of being sorry. That was one hell of a kick because it almost broke my ribs. "Sony, aren't I talking to you?" I asked when he grabbed his phone and started laughing at whatever he had seen instead of responding to me.

“That was enough. Do you want to kill him?“ He glared at me and went to sit on the couch.

I sighed and followed him behind. "Was the kick necessary?" I inquired, hoping for an explanation or apology. I wasn't angry with him, though; I just wanted his attention. The hell he was reading on his phone that made him ignore me!

“We are getting late for the meeting." He said this instead of answering my question, obviously trying to ditch the conversation I was trying to have with him. "You hate tardiness; have you forgotten?" He raised his brow and laughed again at whatever he was reading.
