I walked into the kitchen and found Olivia hugging Maria. Without waiting for them to break the hug, I took the liberty to do that. I gently tapped Olivia on the shoulder, signaling for her to release Maria from the embrace.

Caught off guard, Miss Olivia spun, a cuss already escaping her lips. "What the fuck?"

Upon seeing it was me, she smiled sheepily at me and apologized. I could sense the embarrassment in her expression as she quickly realized her reaction. She explained that she was just caught up in the moment and didn't expect anyone else to be there.

My hand floated upward as a no-problem. I asked if she could excuse us, and she smiled, walking to the living room, where she directed the cleaners on where to clean and where not to.
