Salt across the threshold? I've heard it all now.

Don't get me wrong, I have an interest in the occult. I believe in the paranormal. I've always wanted to go on a ghost hunt, but Jessie and Zara were scared of their own shadows, and Eli thinks it's a load of rubbish. Not that we'd have chosen to do anything together like that back in London. Before that day... Eli and I got along, but we didn't have that kind of relationship. If I'd asked him to, then he'd have come along, just so I didn't miss out, because that's the type of guy my brother is. But he'd have spent the entire time trying to frighten me himself, thinking he's hilarious, and ruin the experience.

So I've never been ghost hunting. But I still believe in that stuff, and I'd say I'm pretty open-minded.

Demons, though? That's a stretch even for me. And if they really do exist? I find it hard to believe a line of common table salt can offer much protection.
