Unlike Eli, I don't have my own computer. Before that day, he was a pretty big gaming nerd, so he saved up and bought a top-of-the-range PC. Mum and Dad offered to buy it for him, for college and stuff... until they'd found out the one he wanted was over a grand. They'd swiftly changed their minds then. But they still gave him some towards it for his 16th birthday, even though they didn't understand why a £200 laptop wasn't good enough.
