It would be brown. Outside of the body, blood deoxygenates, the hemoglobin breaks down, and it dries to a dark brown. Depending on how long it's been there, it can sometimes actually appear black. And all of that is to say that I know the pentagram has been painted -with actual paint- and I relax slightly. Actual blood, even from a pig or something, would be far creepier.

 The concerning part, though, is that the artist clearly intended it to look like blood, and they just didn't consider the color changes of the actual stuff. So my immediate thought is that this is just some weirdly specific graffiti. Maybe some kids have picked up the satanic symbol from TV? I watch some weird shit, so I'm certainly not one to judge.

I would write it off as that, if not for the ropes and chains that make the old outhouse look like an abandoned horror movie set.

It's creepy, and I can't help but shudder.

There's writing beside the symbol, added in the same red paint, and I
