Chapter 102
Dahlia got back from grocery shopping with a cab she had booked all the way from the market. She got her stuff from the booth of the car, paid the driver and waved him goodbye.
She got her stuff off the floor and made for her apartment, shouting greetings to her neighbors who were outside at the time.
She took the stairs to her apartment and had missed out on the note that was stuck on the door.
She dropped some of the shopping bags and fished her keys out of her pocket and then helped herself into her apartment.
Unlike the first few days when she had Elio over, she wasn't really bothered about his absence in the house anymore, but she became worried when she felt some kind of emptiness immediately she got into the house.
She waved it off and went about stocking up the fridge and shelf, placing everything in its rightful place and creating spaces for new things she got for the house.
