Chapter 13
Dominic looked at his three sons who were fast asleep and sighed. His sons were growing up to be cowards, unlike him who was brave and bold. True, they had beaten up two boys, but they had been too afraid of the school chancellor and his anger when it was time for them to speak themselves. He was to be blamed for their nature right now and not the poor boys.
He had been too busy looking for their mother that he had forgotten that he needed to make his sons stronger and better than they were now. But, he missed their mother. He hadn't thought that it was possible but after three months of not having her at the house, he longed for her presence. He missed the breakfast of bread and tea that she made for him every morning. He missed walking into the house at night to the aroma of her food filling the house. He missed how she always cleaned up the house, making it homely and perfect.
