Chapter 48
Jose Fernandez watched as the men finally finished digging up the final resting place for his second son, Rodriques. They had earlier dug up one for Peterson also. He watched without any more emotions as the bodies of his two sons were laid to rest, side by side with each other. Robert came to his side and held an umbrella over his head to keep the sun from beating him any further. When the men began to cover his sons with dirt, Jose still watched on without reflecting any emotions. Robert on the other hand had burst into a fresh series of tears.
The media were trying their best to get full coverage of the funeral, along with Jose's emotional look. His business associates were all clustered around him, trying their best to offer him the comfort he needed to scale through. Some other gang leaders from the media world were also present. Jose knew that some of them were there to sympathize with him, others, however, were simply there to mock him. But he was not
