Chapter 59

Elio sat on the hospital bed, staring at his oldest brother's back. It had been a week since he arrived at the hospital and four days after his claim about having amnesia. If he knew that he would have ended up in this state that he was in, he would have listened to his brother when the man kept drilling him about the need to be security conscious. He had always scoffed the warnings off because he felt that since he wasn't involved in the family business, he wouldn't be much of a target to the enemies. Besides, the business has nearly fallen apart after the death of their father, so that should have been enough to get the enemies off their backs.

His entire body ached. Elio felt like he could finally familiarize himself with Hercule when he was forced to fight in the circus ring with a tiger. He chuckled slightly as he thought about how unrelated the man was to the situation on the ground. He held his ribcage as the location hurt a lot after he laughed. Damn
