Chapter 85
Dahlia woke up with a headache the next day, her joints felt like they were being whipped with something hard. She helped herself up, her back against the bed rest and her hand on her forehead to keep it from falling off her head, maybe.
She stretched her hand to get her phone from the drawer that was by her bed. The time read that it was half past six in the morning, she sighed, grateful that she was off-duty that day.
It had been a really strenuous week or weeks and she's had little to no time to herself to rest.
She needed some aspirin to clear her head of the ache she felt. She opened her drawer and ransacked it, there was no sign of one.
She heaved a sigh and left the bed immediately for the shelves in the bathroom as she was sure there'd be some there and truly, there were.
She popped some into her mouth once she laid hands on the container that had them in it.
