She couldn't sleep all through the night.
Her eyes were swollen as a result of lack of adequate sleep. With every minute that passed she hoped that he'd walk through the door so she can apologise to him. She didn't know why she felt like apologizing to him, she just knew she had to.
She stood by the window and gazed into the city. She listened to the honking of cars and the bustling in the streets, of street vendors and of creatives on the streets. At least that helped her calm her nerves from fear of not knowing if he was fine or not.
The previous night had been really intense. It would be stupid of her if she faked that she didn't know it'd happen. She found him attractive and it was just natural that she fell for him, she just didn't know she'd fall as hard as she already has.
