The speed with which her visa had been processed for their travel still remained a puzzle to her. It had taken less than two days for Elio to come back from wherever he had gone to that day with her visa, bearing her name and picture. She could still remember how she stared at him extending it to her and claiming her visa was ready.

Claiming because she never expected for it to happen that fast.

She remembered how she had had to put a call through to the hospital demanding for a three-day leave, because according to her she had an emergency.

Then, she had had to deal with Jett. She had had to lie that she needed a break from the stress she's had to go through and so, a friend of hers who cared so much about her had arranged for a three-day vacation in France.
